I am sitting here at the computer feeling very content. My daughter will be 7 months old soon and I can hardly believe how fast that 7 months has flown by!
As with most new parents, when she was born, my life changed forever. I had intended to take 12 weeks of maternity leave and then return to my full-time job. The key word being "intended." Little did I know that my beautiful bundle of joy would change all that. After a lot thought (and a lot of tears), I decided that it was in the best interest of my family that I stay home with my daughter. It has been the best decision I have ever made.
I'm certainly not saying it has all been a bed of roses; it hasn't. With the decision to stay home also came the realization that the life I knew had changed forever. I was so used to interacting with people everyday at work. Although I enjoy every second I spend with my daughter and she keeps me very busy, what else would I have to focus my attention on and keep my brain busy?
Then I thought...what could I do from home that I would enjoy? Avon! And so it began four months ago that I became an Avon Independent Sales Representative.
And so, as I stated earlier, I am sitting here at the computer feeling very content. Life is good.
